Answers to our most common questions
Thanks to modern technology, most of the time we can use satellite imagery (i.e. Google Earth) to easily view and measure out your home’s areas.
Our estimates are accurate about 90% of the time. In cases where we don’t have a good view or there are some complexities, we are happy to come out to measure first hand. With virtual and instant quoting, if something is unforeseen or vastly different when we arrive, we will discuss with you and confirm if there are any necessary changes before starting work.
By the way, we don’t quibble over small stuff – we always err on the side of the customer. Our goal is to make sure you are 100% satisfied, not to bait-n-switch.
We generally prices jobs by square footage, and have a $150 job minimum.
Yes! We are fully covered and carry a $2 million dollars liability policy. We stand behind our work, and first work to resolve any issues directly with customers, as part of our “satisfaction guarantee”. We have been in business over 10 years, and completed over 3500 jobs.
As soon as your estimate is approved, our team will give you a call to schedule your appointment.
No, you don’t have to be home, especially for cleaning of driveways or decks. We’ll confirm everything before we start. We will send you a brief list of things to check/do before we arrive. The most important things to note are:
- Make sure at least 1 outside water spigot is on and working properly.
- If cleaning your home, close all doors and windows properly. You may wish to place rolled towels inside of door thresholds, to capture any accidental water leaks.
- If cleaning your patio or deck, remove all items. You can leave the BBQ grill and a center table.*
- If cleaning your driveway, make sure no vehicles are in the driveway.
As far as payment, you won’t be charged until after we’re done and you’ve had a chance look everything over to ensure you are completely satisfied. We will e-invoice you and you can pay via our secure online payment method (see below.)
We always strive to be on time with our scheduling, however occasionally other jobs can run long, or if an earlier appointment asked for additional work on-site. We normally give a 2 hour window for our time of arrival (ETA). If we think we’re going to be early or late, we’ll give you a call beforehand and let you know.
It depends. We can pressure wash in light rain (like driveways or brick walls.) However, for home Soft-washing, it cannnot be too wet, windy, or cold, because of the use of low-pressure and chemicals. For safety, of course, we never work when it’s storming or lightning. In those cases, we keep a close eye on the weather. We will always inform you if there’s a weather delay.
No! We utilize high-end equipment and a specially formulated solution, dubbed Soft-washing. Our method is ideal for hardie-board, vinyl, stucco, wood, and most any painted surface.
Using a home pressure washer with the wrong nozzle or hiring an inexperienced contractor could result in damage to your home, roof, deck, and other areas! And high pressure does not eliminate all the organics, especially mildew. Don't take chances... we've cleaned hundreds of homes here in North Atlanta. We are so confident in our process, we have a 100% customer satisfaction guarantee.
Isn’t “Soft-washing” just bleach? If so, won’t that cause damage to my plants and paint? And is this safe for children and pets?
ExpandNo. We do not just spray bleach. While Sodium Hypochlorite (SH/bleach) is a common base, we use a special blend of professional, biodegradable surfactants, and only use as much chemical as needed, based on the house siding, age, and condition. We know mix proportions, allow for proper “dwell time”, hand-scrub (where needed), and use commercial machines and patented nozzles with a low-pressure, high-volume streaming. These are just a few of the things that distinguish cleaning professionals like Aqua-Nomics from handymen, painters, and do-it-yourselfers – and yield amazing results.
Our detergents will not cause damage or fading to your house's paint or siding (assuming it’s not already oxidized or eaten through by mold.) As importantly, we protect plants and flowers by watering them before, during, and after our process.
In short, we are committed to you, your family, and the environment.
